The Research Center of the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center and the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences invite you to take part in the section "Jewish Studies and Israel Studies" of the conference "Vectors-2025", which will be held on  April 9-11  in Moscow.

The main topics of the section:

• history and culture of the world's Jewish communities;
• history and culture of the Jewish communities of the Russian Empire and the USSR;
• modern Jewish communities;
• research in the field of identities, ethnicities and nationalism;
• Jewish migrations and aliyah;
• Jewish literature and texts;
• epigraphic and book monuments;
• Jewish art and museology; 
• Jewish theatre and cinema studies;
• studies of the Talmud and other key texts of Judaism;
• Jewish philosophy;
• Jewish languages: linguistic and sociolinguistic studies;
• Israel studies: politics, history, society and economy of the State of Israel;
• the history of the Zionist movement and the State of Israel;
• anti-Semitism: history and modern times.


We invite bachelor's, specialist's, master's, postgraduate students, Ph.D. (defended their thesis no more than 3 years ago), as well as young researchers without a degree up to 35 years.

The section will take place on the territory of the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center and the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences. We can provide some travel grants to non-resident participants on a competitive basis (decision for funding and the amount of the grant will be determined by the organizing committee).

Following to the results of the conference, we are planning to publish an issue of the youth magazine (with indexing in the RSCI).
