Café Rishon at the Jewish Museum is a place where Middle Eastern cuisine exists in the rhythm of a big city. "Rishon" means "first" in Hebrew. This is the first cafe in Moscow with a kosher menu that we created based not on the traditions of a specific denominations, but on the lifestyle of our visitors. Here you can spend business meeting or family dinner, relax with friends after the inspection exhibits or take your food with you to snack on the run.

The cafe menu includes familiar dishes associated with Jewish cuisine, as well as space for experimentation. You can choose something familiar: meze, hummus, pita with falafel or shakshuka; or take a chance and go on a trip to the Middle East, ordering Moroccan Harira for lunch, matbuhu or babaganush.
