We are happy to announce the 7th International Conference "Jewish Field Studies: Findings, Experiences, and Conceptualization", organized by the Research Center of the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center.

Applications will be accepted until October 20. The response on acceptance of the application – until October 28

The conference will be held on November 18–20, 2024 in a mixed offline and online format. The working languages of the conference are Russian and English (with translation)


We are happy to announce the 7th International Conference "Jewish Field Studies: Findings, Experiences, and Conceptualization", organized by the Research Center of the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center.

At the 7th annual conference, we propose to expand the concept of the "Jewish field" and discuss new research in Jewish anthropology, folklore studies, linguistics, sociology, epigraphy and archaeology, as well as the history and culture of Jews in Russia and the USSR, Jewish collections and archives and related topics. At the end of the conference, participants will be able to present new collections of articles and monographs.

Applications will be accepted until October 20. The response on acceptance of the application – until October 28.

Attention: The Organizing Committee covers accommodation and meals for non-resident and international participants, while travel expenses are considered individually.
