Overseas students taking part in training events at the Tolerance Centre

On the 8th August, the Tolerance Centre hosted a training event for a truly multicultural group. The international students association AIESEC (http://www.aiesec.ru) invited students from Thailand, China, Turkey, Morocco, Poland, the Netherlands and other countries to come to Russia in order to get to know the land and to give daily accounts of their impressions via online social networks.  One feature of their itinerary was a visit to the Tolerance Centre. Our training event, carried out totally in the English language, was dedicated to the peculiarities of inter-cultural communication, something that the group in question were no stranger to. Nevertheless, many discoveries were made by the participants on how best to communicate with those from other cultural backgrounds.
